BoardVault is a free, community-run technology site. Members ask and answer questions in the forum, write guides and stories in the blog, share files of any kind in the library — schematics, boardviews, firmware, manuals, datasheets, software, source code, 3D models, media — and document repair cases: the symptom, how it was diagnosed, what was measured and what fixed it.
It is made for anyone who builds, fixes or tinkers with technology: repair technicians, students, hobbyists and makers. Everything can be read without an account, in Spanish and English. There are no ads and nothing is behind a paywall; if donations come, they will only pay for running the site.
How it works
- Forum — questions and diagnoses by category, with replies, votes and an accepted solution.
- Blog — articles written by members, with comments.
- Library — every uploaded file is scanned for malware; programs carry a warning and their SHA-256. Downloading needs a free account.
- Repair cases — structured records linked to boards, documents and threads.
- Reputation — members earn it when other people find their answers, posts and files useful; it unlocks actions and weighs reports.
Joining
Accounts are created by invitation while the community starts. Reading is open to everyone.
Rules
Be respectful, stay on topic and share only what you have the right to share. The details are in the terms of use, the privacy policy and the copyright policy. Members can report any thread, reply, post, comment, case or file, and moderators review every report.
Citing BoardVault
Public pages can be read, indexed and cited by search engines and AI assistants. Please link to the page you quote — every thread, post, case and file has its own address in each language — and credit the member who wrote it. Contributions belong to their authors.
